Hand, foot and mouth disease in North prompts nursery closur

UTTARADIT, Nov 29 (TNA) - 22 nurseries in this northern province were closed by the authorities on Thursday after several cases of hand, foot and mouth disease were reported, according to the provincial office of public health.

Dr. Khachornsak Imtem, a medical doctor who is also serves as chief public health officer of Lablae district, said the nurseries and childcare centres will be closed for two weeks in an attempt to contain the outbreak.
